Scott’s take on “That Guy”
“I am so fortunate to have re-kindled a childhood friendship with one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever met – Jacob Meador. Without him, this album simply would not have been possible. I only hope that he knows how grateful I am. I was able to utilize his talents from instrumental to vocals, as well as his tremendous ability from a producer’s standpoint to create a unique sound in every song”.

“I’d like to thank Scott Pickens, my former roommate, current coworker, and friend for his writing contribution on The Atmosphere. We put down a few “cold ones” and put together a great tune. He also has helped with the majority of the photography I’ve used on this latest project. “

“During college I met Bart Baldwin. Neither one of us could play an instrument, but while swapping some lyrics – we were able to combine and create “Now I’ll Never Know”, which I believe has to be one of the better songs on this album – Thanks man”.

“My first shot at co-writing came when I met Joe Kirkpatrick. Little did either of us know, that we’d eventually be related – by law that is – Ha! I remember sitting down and pitching him an idea, before I knew it he had “remodeled” the whole thing! Needless to say, I later revisited “Drinkin’ Buddy” and it is now going to be released as a single on my debut album”.

“I met Kim Ebling several years ago through some mutual friends. Upon finding out she taught piano and violin lessons – I asked if she could help on my project. Event though it took a year to get her in the studio, she was still there eager to help! Thanks Kim!”
